My work explores the career and organizational ramifications of market frictions originating in personal life. Essentially, I research how people align where they work with what they do outside work. I am predominantly interested in the workplace environments created by scaling companies.
I received my PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Organization Theory.
I have partnered with the social enterprise Comeback Camp (https://www.comeback.nu/) to integrate the employer's perspective into discussions about criminal records.
Currently, I am collaborating with the Danish Police to educate the public on the impact of criminal record checks on employees' careers.
